Multi-Objective Optimal Design and Development of a Four-Bar Mechanism for Weed Control

چکیده

Weeds compete with crops for water, nutrients, and light consequently, have adverse effects on the crop yield overall productivity. Mechanical weeding is most common non-chemical method weed control, which applied in organic farming, cultivator implement mechanical weeding. This study aimed to design develop an innovative active tool optimize cultivation depth, can avoid damage roots improve key performance indicators of inter-row cultivator. A quasi-Newton optimization a hybrid non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) goal attainment were separately synthesize four-bar mechanism requirements. The transmission angle desired path blade simultaneously optimized using these multi-objective techniques. developed based techniques was compared ones classic methods also several conventional tools evaluated other studies. results showed that applying propose more effective terms indicators, namely performance, plants depth. In addition, guaranteed smooth rotations mechanism’s joints.
